Bryn Mawr Meadows Park Improvements: Public Invited

Improved storm water management and water quality treatment will be included as a feature in upcoming renovations in Bryn Mawr Meadows Park. The Minneapolis Park and Rec Board (MPRB) is planning improvements in multiple north side parks through its North Service Area Master Planning process. At Bryn Mawr Meadows, it’s an even bigger story: the Bassett Creek Watershed Management Commission (BCWMC) and the City of Minneapolis are partnering with the MPRB to design a water feature in the park to capture and clean runoff from the surrounding neighborhood that flows through the park directly into Bassett Creek. Community members are invited to learn more about the park’s design concepts and water features, get questions answered, and lend their thoughts at an upcoming public workshop.
