Help us create the new BRYN MAWR gateway hedge and be part of a lasting Bryn Mawr landmark!
We are looking for volunteers to assist with this.  No gardening knowledge required just an ability to get down in the dirt and pound landscape spikes. This is a great option if you won’t be around on planting day but want to help out. Contact Dennie Juillerat via text or voice ar 612.850.5658 or dennie.juillerat@bmna.org and he will arrange a time that works to help out.
Planting Day! September 18
This is where the fun happens. We need about 80-100 people to dig 12″ holes and plant over 300 cotoneaster bushes that make up the letters. No gardening knowledge required for this step either, just a shovel and a willingness to have fun! We will be working outside and staggering the planting so we can maintain social distance. An irrigation system, mulch and a metal landscape border will be installed later in September. If you are interested or would like to know more, fill out this Google Form and someone will contact you. Be part of Bryn Mawr history and meet new neighbors!
It all started with neighbor Steve Jensen and a design shoveled in the snow.
And grew from there to a hedge topiary that stood for many seasons.
